What is the advantage to having rised handlebars? My yz 125 came with rised handlebars when I bought it used. The guy was like 6'2" I am only 5'8" and I was wondering if there is any advantage to having them? My friend wants to buy them from me for like 5 bucks for his bike because he is 6'1"

Comfort when standing on the pegs. I need bar risers on all bikes because I'm 6'4", if I don't have them I'm all hunched over and my throttle/brake/clutch control go to carp. If they're just solid risers, they cost $20 brand new (sell em for $10), if they have rubber dampers to help with vibes, then they can cost upwards of $100... don't sell those for just $5. tall people like them. for shorties like us its actually a disadvantage.

Can I still get my permit and possibly my license? I was caught driving so I of course went to court and everything. I recieved a court order saying that I can't drive until I am of legal age. Can I still get my permit? I'm sixteen so I was guessing I could still.... the permit test doesn't entitle driving so I was thinking I could still get it... And could I still get my license after a year of having my permit? I know you have to drive during this test so I didn't know if I was able to or not... I don't even know if I can take the test because of the Joshua's law in Georgia stating that I have to have at least 40 hours of driving experience recorded and I'm not allowed to drive until I am of "legal age".... The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan features a 3.0L V6 engine. Step by Step :

Disconnect the battery ground cable with the appropriate wrench and lay it to the side, but do not allow it to touch metal. Slide the floor jack under the oil pan and jack it up just so it touches the bottom of the oil pan, to support the engine. Loosen the accessory drive belt tensioners using the appropriate sockets, then lift the accessory drive belts off the pulleys. The tensioners, belts and pulleys are on the front of the engine. Remove the crankshaft pulley and damper using the appropriate sockets. The crankshaft pulley is located on the crankshaft at the bottom of the engine.

Remove the right engine mount, the timing belt covers and the sprocket flange using the appropriate sockets.

Turn the crankshaft clockwise until the timing marks are lined up. The timing mark on the crankshaft lines up at the 1 o'clock position. The timing mark on the right camshaft (as you are looking down at the engine) is at the 11 o'clock position, and the timing mark on the left camshaft is at the 1 o'clock position.

Loosen the tensioner bolt. Turn the tensioner counterclockwise. Tighten the bolt to hold it in place. Lift the timing belt off the sprockets and the pulleys. Check that the timing marks are still lined up.

Install the timing belt in a counterclockwise direction, starting on the crankshaft sprocket. While keeping tension on the belt, route it over the top of the right camshaft sprocket, under the water pump pulley, over the top of the left camshaft sprocket and behind the tensioner.

Loosen the tensioner bolt, allowing the tensioner to put tension on the belt. Turn the crankshaft clockwise two turns until the timing marks line up again. Tighten the tensioner bolt to 18 foot-pounds of torque. Install the sprocket flange, the timing belt covers and the right engine mount with the appropriate sockets. Reinstall the belts by routing them around the pulleys. Tighten the tensioners with the appropriate sockets. Reinstall the crankshaft pulley. Tighten the crankshaft bolt to 112 foot-pounds of torque. Tighten the crankshaft pulley-to-damper bolts to 18 foot-pounds of torque.

Disconnect the negative battery cable and lay it aside, ensuring that it does not touch metal. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolts using the appropriate socket. Loosen the accessory drive belt tensioners using the appropriate sockets or wrenches to ease the tension on the belts. Lift the belts off the pulleys. Remove the timing belt covers using the appropriate sockets.

Turn the crankshaft clockwise until the "2" on the camshaft sprocket lines up with the mark at the 12 o'clock position. The crankshaft timing mark should be lined up once the "2" mark lines up. Loosen the tensioner retaining bolt. Push the tensioner away from the belt, then tighten the bolt enough to hold the tensioner out of the way.

Remove the belt guide plate from the crankshaft sprocket. Lift the timing belt off the sprockets. Loosen the tensioner bolt. Remove the tensioner spring. Measure the spring. If the measurement is not 2.24 inches, replace the spring. Spin the tensioner and guide pulleys. If they make noise or have any resistance, replace them.

Install the tensioner spring. Push the tensioner against the spring pressure. Tighten the tensioner bolt enough to keep the tensioner in place. Make sure the timing marks are still lined up.

Install the timing belt, working in a counterclockwise direction, starting on the crankshaft sprocket. Keeping the belt taut on the non-tensioned side, route the belt over the water pump pulley, behind the guide pulley, over the camshaft, then behind the tensioner pulley.

Loosen the tensioner bolt and allow the tensioner to put tension on the bolt. Turn the crankshaft clockwise two turns. Tighten the tensioner bolt to 32 foot-pounds of torque. Check that the timing marks are still lined up.

Apply a load of 22 pounds to the belt halfway between the camshaft sprocket and the guide pulley. The belt should deflect 0.3 to 0.34 inches. If not, repeat the tensioning process (Step 6).

Install the guide plate, making sure the convex side is toward the timing belt. Install the rest of the parts in reverse order of removal. Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolts to 10 foot-pounds of torque.
